This lovely home is an example of the Greek revival Style of architecture. Built in the 1840s by a member of the Thacher family as an addition to an earlier structure dating from 1740. We invite you to tour the house, view the magnificent weeping beech tree out back, and walk the Nature Trails. The house is open June l to October 31, Sunday afternoons, with tours at l,2,& 3 p.m. ; also open Thursday afternoons, with tours at l,2, & 3 p.m.in July and August. Admission: $3 adults; $.50 children under 12.
