The Cape Cod School of Art was founded by Charles Hawthorne in 1899, and offers workshops in oils, pastels, watercolors, landscapes, still life and portraits. Classes are held from June through September. Painting demonstrations, open to the public, are held Friday mornings from July through September from 9am until noon.
