In 1785 Hamilton House was built on a spectacular site overlooking the Falls River. In 1898 Emily Tyson purchased the house and promptly set on a course to restore the house to its former glory. With the assistance of their neighbor, Sarah Jewett, they decorated with a mix of beautiful antiques, painted murals, and furnishings representing our American Colonial past. The grounds include a formal garden where summer concert series are held. There is an admission charge of $5.00
Operating Season
open June l through October 15. Wednesday through Sunday Tours at 11am, noon, lpm, 2pm, 3pm and 4pm. The grounds are open dawn to dusk
