Hardings Beach is a great family beach, similar to Cockle Cove. The warm Nantucket Sound water is great for swimming and windsurfing, and parents will appreciate the calm waves and long stretches of soft sand. Lifeguards on duty 9 a.m. to 4:30 a.m. during the summer season. Restroom and a concession stand availabillity makes for a relaxing day at the beach. Non resident parking costs $10 per day or $40 per week.
